The series is a reinterpretation of the travel video genre. The 8 experimental shorts apply creative decision making to a form that is usually practical and mundane. The content attempts to document the location, but also provide personal insight about the traveler as camera operator. The video series targets the spirit of the journey motif in the same tradition as Melville, Hemingway, Robert Breer and Werner Herzog.
